Atwood Memorial Center was full of late-night activities on Thursday, September 17, as St. Cloud State University hosted Atwood After Dark. The event took place from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. and gave students a chance to have some fun and take a break from their usual school routine.
There were different activities happening throughout Atwood, so students had plenty to choose from. One of the main attractions was laser tag, where students could play against their friends. Karaoke was another option for anyone who wanted to grab the microphone and sing along to their favorite songs. For students looking for something more creative, there was also an activity where they could paint and decorate their own chocolate lollipops.

The event was organized under St. Cloud State’s Department of Campus Involvement (DCI). It was free for St. Cloud State students as long as they brought a valid student ID card, making it an easy and affordable way to spend the evening without leaving campus.

Atwood After Dark also gave students a place to hang out with friends and meet other people. College schedules can get busy with classes, assignments and work, so having an event on campus can be a nice way for students to relax for a few hours.

Students could stay for the entire event or stop by for the activities they were most interested in. Whether they wanted to play laser tag, sing karaoke, decorate chocolate or simply hang out with friends, there was something to do throughout the night.
Atwood After Dark brought a different atmosphere to the Atwood Memorial Center and gave St. Cloud State students another way to enjoy campus life outside of the classroom.
