On March 27, 2026, the Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom at St. Cloud State University turned into a busy hub of opportunity as students and employers came together for the campus Career Fair. Starting at 1:00 p.m., the ballroom quickly filled with students dressed in their best professional outfits, ready to explore future career paths, make connections, and learn more about the working world.

A wide range of companies attended the fair, giving students many options to explore. Wellknown employers like Spee-Dee, Pilgrim’s, and NextStep set up tables with banners, brochures, and friendly representatives ready to answer questions. In addition to outside employers, many campus offices also took part in the event. These offices provided information about on campus jobs and student support services, showing that career growth can start right here at St. Cloud State.

The fair was designed to be welcoming for all students, whether they were first-year undergraduates exploring options or graduating seniors actively looking for full-time positions. Many students brought printed resumes, practiced their introductions, and waited in line to talk with recruiters. For some, it was their first time speaking directly with employers. For others, it was an important follow-up to previous networking and applications.

Throughout the afternoon, students asked questions about job responsibilities, company culture, training programs and career growth. Employers explained what they look for in applicants and shared tips on how students can stand out. Many recruiters encouraged students to connect on LinkedIn or apply online after the event, turning a quick conversation into a possible long-term opportunity. Events like this job fair show how St. Cloud State works to support students’ futures by bringing opportunities directly to campus in an accessible, welcoming setting.
