Cru leadership is making a shift in the leadership team as the semester comes to a close and member’s graduate.

Cru, a campus ministry, is a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ. Students meet weekly for Tuesday night Bible studies and Thursday night Weekly Meetings.

At the end of every school year, graduation is inevitable. For Cru, that means farewell for President Logan Gohmann.

“Cru has brought me to many of my closest friends and more importantly, closer to God. I couldn’t have imagined a better group,” said Gohmann.

Silas Dinger, current Vice President, has the honor of being President this next coming year and was super grateful for the opportunity he had this year to work right beside Logan. “It’s been such a joy. This entire year has been so amazing to learn more about new people, and I’m excited to build it farther next year.”

Other member of the news team consists of Liam Jaeb (Vice President), Benjamin Cunningham (Treasurer), Grace McLaughlin (Social Media and Thursday Night Lead), Sam Holroyd (Community Night Lead), Wyatt Wolf and Luke Busch (Worship Leads), and Amber Nelson, Dylan Neumann, and Ren Schoenherr for Outreach Leads.

The team was able to get together, and all discussed their roles for the following year on April 17th

Cru won a 2026 Student Leadership Award sharing the “Outstanding Collaboration” with Catholic Student Community – Newman Center, LuMin, and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Silas also recently received the award for “Outstanding Student Leader.”

This summer will be a crucial time for everyone in their new leadership positions to prepare themselves for their role next semester. Cru leaders will meet once a month via Zoom over the summer to coordinate plans.
